AFIO Scholarship
AFIO stands for Association of Former Intelligence Officers. The purpose of AFIO scholarships is to help students reach their potential, without having to worry about their educational budget. A number of scholarship awards are offered by AFIO and the award amount for 2014 ranges from a thousand to four thousand dollars each. Scholarships are available for both graduate and undergraduate students. Students can send in their applications starting from February 2014. AFIO should receive all the application material by July 1, 2014. The evaluation criteria include merit, character, academic commitment, career ambitions, and relevancy of your education to national security interests.
