There are numerous scholarship opportunities available for students of color throughout the United States. The information and links contained within this directory by no means represent a comprehensive list of every available minority scholarship opportunity. We've included all minority scholarship opportunities which we have knowledge of. FA4Y recommends starting your scholarship search by visiting the sites listed in our Scholarship Search category. Most of these sites have access to databases with thousands of scholarships giving away billions of dollars.

FA4Y also recommends tapping the knowlege of your local resources. High School, community college, and University counselors are always great places to start. Ask around about local community sponsored scholarships with organizations like Rotary, Lion's Club, and others. Talk with local leaders within communities and churches. There are usually a wide assortment of helpful local people who are anxious to help young people within their communities.
