Created in 1975, the LULAC National Scholarship Fund (LNSF) was one of the first national programs designed to outreach the Hispanic community by providing financial assistance to economically disadvantaged, but academically gifted Hispanic students in the United States. Since its inception, the LNSF has awarded 13 million dollars to nearly 25,000 students.
